USING DINNER DECIDED
A few things to agree on.
Effective October 7, 2026. These terms apply between you and Dinner Decided when you use our household meal-planning service. You must be at least 18 and live in Canada to create or use an account.
Your account and household
Use an email you control, verify it and keep your password and account links private. Provide accurate account details. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account; tell us through the contact form if you suspect unauthorized access.
Create a household for your own use or join one through an invitation intended for you. Household content is shared with its members. Invite people only with their permission, and share other people’s information only when you have authority to do so. Each household must connect its own grocery account. You may not access another household without permission or bypass account and household controls.
Planning assistance and food safety
Dinner Decided helps organize meal plans, recipes, pantry information and groceries. AI-generated or adapted recipes are not kitchen-tested and can be inaccurate. Imports can miss or misread details. Review quantities, units, allergens, temperatures, cooking methods and substitutions before using them. This service is not medical or nutritional advice and cannot verify that a food is safe for an allergy.
Planning prices, package sizes, pantry projections and carryover are estimates. Check what is actually in your kitchen and follow safe storage and cooking practices. Ratings and feedback guide future suggestions; they do not guarantee a particular result.
Groceries and third parties
Grocery features depend on your own eligible Save-On-Foods account, store, location and current retailer support. Product availability, prices, fees and delivery slots are determined by the retailer. Review cart changes and complete checkout yourself on Save-On-Foods. Dinner Decided does not place or pay for orders automatically.
Cloudflare, OpenAI, Supadata, retailers and source websites provide parts of the service or connected features. Their availability can change and their terms may apply to your use of their services. Read our Privacy policy for the information shared with providers.
Recipes and other content you provide
Only upload, paste or import material you are entitled to use. Keep creator attribution and respect source rights. You retain your rights in content you provide. You give Dinner Decided permission to store, process, adapt and display that content as needed to provide the features you use and share it within your household, including processing by the providers described in our Privacy policy.
Do not submit unlawful content, malicious code, passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information. Do not scrape private accounts, impersonate others, evade usage limits or interfere with the service. AI output may resemble other material; no exclusive rights or ownership guarantee is made for it.
Availability and account closure
Features may be changed, limited or interrupted for maintenance, security, provider availability or responsible operation. We may restrict misuse or access that does not meet these terms. These terms do not promise uninterrupted service, a fixed feature set, specific savings or a pricing plan.
You can stop using the service at any time. Use the contact form to request account closure or assistance with household information. The Privacy policy explains retention and removal requests. These terms do not remove consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions and changes
Contact Dinner Decided through the homepage form with a question about these terms. Updated terms will carry a new effective date. We will provide notice and seek renewed agreement where required for material changes. No payment subscription or recurring charge is authorized by this agreement.
