FROM THE PLAN TO YOUR PLATE

One week. A little less deciding.

Dinner Decided connects the decisions that usually live in different places: what to cook, what you already have, what to buy and what worked last time.

1. Start with your household

Create an account and verify your email. Then choose a household name, portions per recipe, meals per week and the balance of easy and more involved cooking. Include lunch portions in the total you want from each recipe.

Add dietary needs, foods to avoid, spice preferences and the equipment you have. Choose your store, delivery preferences and meal budget. These settings guide future menus; changing them does not silently resize recipes you have already saved.

2. Make room for favourites and discoveries

Save recipes to your household cookbook or import one from a link, text, photos or a document. Review the result before saving it. Recipes join automatic rotation only when you choose to include them and review their planning version.

New menu suggestions draw on household preferences, saved recipes and explicit cooking feedback. Review the week, swap an upcoming meal or ask for a different idea. Automatic menu planning is optional.

3. Check the kitchen, then the groceries

Update your pantry and mark ingredients you already have for the relevant weeks. The grocery list combines planned recipe quantities with that starting stock. Projected carryover is a planning estimate; check your kitchen before relying on it.

Connect your household’s own Save-On-Foods account when you want cart preparation. Review the prepared cart and any substitutions. You choose the delivery slot, confirm final prices and complete checkout on Save-On-Foods. Dinner Decided does not place an order for you.

4. Cook, keep notes, improve the next week

Open a recipe for its ingredients and focused cooking steps. Mark it cooked, save a favourite and leave feedback while the meal is fresh in your mind.

Feedback helps shape future suggestions. AI-generated recipes and edits still need your judgement: check ingredients, allergies, quantities and cooking instructions before preparing a meal.
