FROM YOUR KITCHEN TO YOUR LIST

Groceries with a plan behind them.

Know why an ingredient is on the list, what is already in your kitchen and how a package can cover more than one meal.

Start with what you have

Record pantry quantities and ingredients already on hand for the weeks they cover. Dinner Decided uses the household’s recipes and starting stock to work out what is still needed.

Projected carryover estimates what may remain after planned cooking. It is not a live view of your fridge or proof that food is still fresh. Update actual stock when plans change, groceries arrive or an ingredient runs out.

Make the grocery list work across meals

Quantities cover planned consumption through the next replenishment, less opening stock. Package estimates help explain what may remain and when food may need freezing or using.

Small ingredient allowances apply only where the recipe permits them. Counted ingredients, seasonings and precise liquid ratios keep their exact requirements. Household extras stay separate from the meal budget.

Connect your own grocery account

A household owner can connect Save-On-Foods in a private sign-in window. Each household has a separate connection; you do not shop through someone else’s account.

Store service areas, delivery slots and inventory depend on Save-On-Foods and your address. A preferred delivery window is a preference, not a reserved slot. Other retailers are not currently offered by this integration.

Review before you order

Cart preparation can use suitable substitutions or adapt a recipe when availability requires it, within household rules. The review shows what changed and any items needing attention. Existing cart items and store orders are preserved.

You review the cart, confirm real prices and delivery fees, and complete checkout on Save-On-Foods. Dinner Decided never completes checkout or purchases groceries automatically.
