Can I set up my own household?

Yes, when public signup is open: create an account, verify your email and choose your household preferences. If you are joining someone else’s household, use the invitation from its owner instead.

Each household has its own private menus, cookbook, pantry and grocery connection. Site administration is separate from household membership.

Will it place grocery orders automatically?

No. Dinner Decided can prepare a Save-On-Foods cart for review. You complete checkout yourself on Save-On-Foods, where you confirm the prices, delivery slot and fees.

Does it work with my store or delivery address?

The grocery connection currently uses Save-On-Foods. Delivery eligibility, slots, inventory and final prices come from the retailer. Confirm that your own account and address are supported before relying on cart preparation.

You can review the menu and grocery list independently of connecting a grocery account. There is no claim of support for every retailer or region.

Can I bring my own recipes?

Yes. Import from a public link, pasted text, photos, PDFs or Word documents, then review the result. You decide which reviewed recipes are eligible for weekly rotation. Saving alone does not opt them in.

How are allergies and cooking preferences handled?

Your household settings guide newly generated meals and substitutions. Imported recipes may retain original dietary conflicts with visible warnings. Always review labels, ingredients and instructions yourself; the app cannot verify allergen safety.

Are the recipes and grocery prices guaranteed?

No. AI-generated recipes and edits are not kitchen-tested. Planning costs, package sizes and carryover are estimates. Check the kitchen and review the retailer’s cart before you buy.

What if my verification link fails?

Links expire after one hour and work once. Request a new link on the verification page; doing so replaces the previous link. If you have already verified, sign in. Password recovery is available from the sign-in page.

How do I ask another question?

Use the contact form on the homepage. It sends your message to the private Dinner Decided inbox. Do not include passwords, payment details or invitation links.
